Tactix - A

Tactix is a obscure 1998 Schmidt title that probably deserved more interest than it actually got. The game is very 'chess-like'. 2 Dice armies (black and wood) are put one against the other. Each side gets 9 dice: 8 dice are normal dice, one dice is 'the king'. Each dice can be moved by a number of spaces equal to the face up number that die is showing. The movement must be fully completed and you can 'turn' 90 only once X move. If you end up on an opponent dice, you capture it. The king can only be moved by 1 space/move.
You win if you capture the enemy king or if you occupy the opponent's king starting place.
